I''m a man that has been singing all my life, and on stage since the age of four. I've worked in studios and nightclubs throughout the Western USA as a vocalist and a singing drummer, with a few awesome moments on the big stage during my career... I believe there is still much more music to share!

Born and raised in Seattle; Blues, R&B, and Soul have always been the music in my heart. It's been said that on stage my movements as a vocalist are a cross between Otis Redding, Joe Cocker, and The King...I can live with that!

During my student years, my summers were spent in Hollywood studying music.

My Grandfather and mentor Glen Johnston, was known as the Mouthpiece Man in Hollywood. A master in the world of reed instruments, he had been under contract with Disney, Paramount, and Warner Brothers (Carl Stalling). Great horn players from all over the country counted on Glen to create a magical mouthpiece for their reed instruments. Players from the Ray Charles Orchestra, Buddy Rich Big Band, Count Basie Orchestra, and every jazz/blues club in Los Angeles, knew the craftsmanship of my Grandfather.

I met players like: Ian Underwood, Frank Zappa, Azar Lawrence, and my teacher and friend John Williams (Baritone sax w/Count Basie).

I've had the honor of being on stage and/or working in the studio with the following artists: Eric Burdon (side by side with Jimmy Witherspoon & Robben Ford), Goldy McJohn (Steppenwolf), Harvey Mandel, Doug Heath (Paul Revere & The Raiders), Ron Gardner (The Wailers), Jerry Roslie (The Sonics), Jeff Pevar (CSN/CPR)...and so many more!

Eddy McManus

Hours of dedication & developing his craft has given him a one of a kind style. Eddy's experiences have shaped his song choices through the years, changing the layers of his sound and the dimensions of his style.

Equally at home in a variety of genres, Eddy explores new songs with a raw sound that pushes his vocals from a lower, grittier sound all the way to a big high note climax. He has set the bar high with his thoughtful and unique styling.

Eddie McManus performed his first Virtual Reality concert, David Bowie: A Second Life Experience, in Second Life on Sunday Feb. 9th at the OD Designs Holodeck. Eddie McManus explores David Bowie's music legacy with his raw sound that is saturated with the classic tones of David Bowie's music and spectacular stagecraft.

David Bowie: A Second Life Experience Starring Eddie McManus was a fantastic VR tribute presentation by Eddie McManus of David Bowie's music, which spans Bowie's career as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, acclaimed by critics and musicians for his innovative work which was marked by reinvention and visual presentation.

Singing from a young age, Eddy has always loved the Pop music of his generation. His voice is drenched with a classic tone sitting perfectly in the Jazz, Big Band, Rock n’ Roll and Pop genres. He has been singing at every type of gig you can name for many years.
